Lately, people have been asking me if I grew up in Victoria and if I would ever want to live anywhere else. I have lived here for 30 years and no, I would / could never leave this Island. It may sound dumb, but it is apart of me and I am apart of it!
With the relaxed pace of the city and the strong, yet calming crashing waves of the ocean.... Why would I want to leave?
After a fun day of being in the heart of downtown Victoria, I decided to go for a walk. And WALK I DID. I had picked up these amazing OTBT - Off The Beaten Track - Shoes from Capital Iron Clothing and thought today was the perfect day to wear them. I am so glad I did. I walked from downtown to the lighthouse on Ogden Pointe and stood there, breathlessly gazing at the beauty that surrounded me.
I continued my afternoon stroll along the ocean to Cook Street Village in these babies! I also had some fellow sun-lovers stop me in my travels and ask me about them. These sandals are just perfect for the Island and made for adventures.
