Mayor Declares June 1-10 'Shop Local Week'!
“Shop Local Week is a great reminder of the value local businesses bring to our communities and the fundamental role they play in supporting our local economy,” says Fortin. “The idea to create a Shop Local campaign that celebrates our local business is both fun and inspiring — a way for people to show support for those businesses who contribute to the vibrancy of our region and our daily lives.”
As you know, I am a huge supporter of shopping local and I am so excited that the Mayor has declared June 1-10th 'SHOP LOCAL WEEK' in Victoria, B.C.
