On February 21, 2013, the first H&M on Vancouver Island is set to open next to the always fabulous Forever 21 at Uptown Centre at 12pm sharp! Forever 21 opened up on December 22, 2012 and there will be one more outstanding addition to this amazing trio of fashion tredning stores, Joe Fresh (a Canadian owned company) will open in early March 2013!
This H&M, (also known as Hennes & Mauritz Inc) will be the 62nd store to open in Canada.
The fashionable company was founded in Sweden, and now has 2,800 clothing stores around the world.
MARK THE DATE for the grand opening of this H&M at Uptown Centre because the first 300 people that are in the line to shop the up-to-date trends that will drape the shiny new racks of this H&M location will receive scratch cards offering price discounts.

H&M plans to launch a amazing program in that they will accept clothing donations. With each donated clothing bag, H&M will give you a $5 credit on your next $30 purchase!
Spokeswoman Emily Scarlett has said "The aim of this program is to prevent clothing going to landfills" (from The TC News). What a great idea!
