Finally Found My Wings - Benefit's Push Up Liner

Eyeliner. My staple and the one thing you will always find in my purse. I have always loved the sultry look of the cat-eye, it works with so many looks and styles, but I have struggled to find a liner that makes a perfect wing and one that lasts. I was excited to try Benefit’s new They're Real Push-Up Liner.

Benefit Cosmetics Push-Up Liner

After trying the liner, I was very surprised that I got it to look so perfect on the first try and every other time after. I was skeptical about gel in a pen, as I have always used a liquid pointed tip to achieve the cat-eye, but I was quickly proven wrong. This pen has an angled tip, making drawing the winged cat-eye tip easy and flawless.
The final touch, the Benefit They're Real Mascara. Everything in the line is waterproof and stays on all day.

Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Push-Up Liner is a Allure Best of Beauty and Beauty Breakthrough award winner. Plus, it's vegan friendly! Get more details and shop here:

Make Scents This Winter - Top Fall / Winter Scents For 2014

My favorite time of year is finally here, the transition between fall and winter! It's time to switch over to seasonal Starbucks coffees (my favorite is the Skinny Peppermint Mocha), snuggly cashmere scarves, cozy layers and a brand new fragrance! Your summertime scent (surely is a lightweight bouquet that involves citrus or cheery florals) simply will not do for this time of year. I have rounded up my favorites as well as some of the most coveted perfumes of the season! Xx

Chanel Coco Noir
This deep scent has hints of grapefruit, bergamot, rose absolute, and Indonesian patchouli

 Calvin Klein Reveal
This sultry scent is infused with pink and black pepper, ambergris, iris, sandalwood, cashmeran woods, vetiver and musk

 Aerie Cozy Up
This heavenly scent has hints of sweet orange, apple, jasmine, caramel cream, vanilla sugar and cocoa! Top of my favorites list

Elizabeth And James Nirvana Black
This divine scent is made with hints of violet, sandalwood, vanilla. One of my favorites

 5 Step Facial

Trick and Treated to much? All partied out? Is your skin showing it? Halloween makeup or a mix of alcohol and sugary sweets can do a number on your skin. Facials are an important part to maintaining a healthy skin complexion. I typically try to get a professional facial every other month. But, while professional facials can be pretty costly, there are plenty of spa-worthy products in today's market that are perfect for giving yourself an inexpensive at-home facial.

Here’s how to give yourself a lovely at-home facial in just 5 easy steps:
What you will need…

gentle facial cleanser
exfoliating scrub
washcloth
face mask (clay-based for oily skin, cream or gel mask for dry skin)
face moisturizer

First step, Clean. Remove all makeup and then wash your face, neck and ears with a good facial cleanser.

Next up is to Exfoliate. Use your fingers gently and rub an exfoliating facial scrub in small circular motions over your face. Making sure you focus on areas around your nose and forehead.

Set to Steam. There are a few ways you can steam your face (over the stove, using a steamer), but the safest way is to use a washcloth. To do this, fill your sink with warm water and soak a washcloth in it. Ring out the towel and then press it to your face. Repeat this step at least two times. Easy!

Mask it. If you have oily skin, try using a clay mask. For dry skin, I would suggest using a hydrating cream or gel mask. Now, depending on the mask, leave it on for the suggested amount of time and then rinse completely, making sure to get all reminiscences off. An amazing brand for scrubs and facial masks is 100% Pure Organic.

Last up, Hydrate. Last by not least, moisturize! Smooth a nice, thick moisturizer over your face and neck. I use Aveeno products daily. My favorite is their Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer.

Let your skin breath for a while before you apply your daily makeup. I usually do my facials before I cozy up for bed in the evenings.
